We've de-cluttered quite a bit and our navigation has changed. Let us know if you can't find what you're looking for.
RATS maintains a small number of limited (LTD) codeplugs for radios that are popular but hard to support due to quirks or defects in the CPS. These files contain only the DMRVA Richmond Metro repeater cluster.
For OEM CPS:
For the RT Systems CPS:
A few community contributed files are provided here for radios or CPSs that are unsupported by the DMR File Generator, N0GSG conversion, and RATS LTD codeplugs.
For Motorola CPS 16:
The channels, zones, and layout of user-contributed codeplugs may vary. Where known, the corresponding DMRVA talkgroup matrix version is noted with each file. Our historical version information can be used to bring these files up-to-date with the current channel lineup.
If you have a file you'd like to contribute, send it to us at codeplug-request@rats.net for consideration.
Also available: Old versions of discontinued RATS codeplugs for the Cotre CO-04D and Retevis RT29D.
Our files are packaged a ZIP archives. You will need to decompress (unzip) the files before use.
Download and install your radio's OEM CPS. Need help finding it?
Download and unzip the LTD or user-contributed codeplug file for your radio and CPS.
Now, with your radio connected, launch the CPS. Go to File > Open and load the codeplug file you just unzipped.
Set your radio ID (from radioid.net) and other preferences.
When you are satisfied with your codeplug’s accuracy, send it to your radio. Look for Write to radio or something similar on the CPS menus.
If you run into any trouble please get in touch with us at codeplug-request@rats.net and we'll be happy to help!
