CS750, CS800D, and Moto440 codeplugs have been updated to DMRVA2.6 (July 2025) | Now available: Pre-converted file for the AT-D168UV
The N0GSG DMR Contact Manager software has generally good support for older Anytone radios, but due to defects either in N0GSG or the Anytone 578 Series CPS, some fields may be left at undesirable defaults. You can use our Post-Conversion Cleanup Utility to address these issues until these are resolved by N0GSG or the manufacturer. Use this tool after following our regular codeplug conversion process and anytime you have modified your codeplug using N0GSG.
For each channel in the CSV file, this utility:
Evaluates Transmit and Receive frequencies and sets DMR Mode to 0 (DMO/simplex) or 1 (Repeater), accordingly.
Step 1 - Export your channel list to CSV:
In the AT-D578 CPS, go to Tool > Export.
Click the Channel button.
A Save As dialog will appear. Navigate to a convenient location and give your channel data file a name, like channels.csv.
Click Export, then OK.
Step 2 - Upload it for processing:
Click the Browse button located to the right. 👉
Navigate to the CSV file you saved during step 1.
Click the Process button and wait a moment.
Download your new CSV file and save it to a convenient location.
Step 3 - Import back into the CPS:
In the AT-D578 CPS, go to Tool > Import.
Click the Channel button.
An Open dialog will appear. Navigate to the CSV you just downloaded.
Click Import, then OK.
Step 4 - Spot-check a few channels:
Evaluate a dozen or so channels to confirm DMR Mode is set correctly. Check a mix of repeater and simplex channels.
If any inconsistencies are found, you will unfortunately need to review and edit the entire codeplug manually (within the CPS, not using CSV export/import).
This utility expects a CSV file exported from an AT-D578 Series CPS and was tested with:
AT-D578UV III Plus CPS v1.21
AT-D578UV III Pro CPS v1.20
AT-D578UV Pro CPS v1.21
Results may vary with other versions.
When you use this tool, the file you upload is transmitted to Google's Apps Script platform for processing. RATS does not receive or retain anything you upload here.
